Scheduled start of the ZIM feasibility study (DFS - CMC) for the production of copper matrix composites
The focus here is on new approaches for effective and efficient heat dissipation within the stator and possibly rotor winding. These approaches are intended to realise intensified cooling of the active part of electric machines with high power and speed. At the same time, the network is focussing on new solutions and manufacturing processes for the production of high-speed-resistant rotors. The research and evaluation of new casting and moulding techniques plays a key role here. We are delighted to be able to make our first exciting contribution and would like to thank the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection for its financial support.
