Background: TUClab Competition 2020
The third TUClab competition for start-up funding was announced in July 2020 at Chemnitz University of Technology. It was initiated by the Sächsische Aufbaubank, the development bank of the Free State of Saxony, and the university through the establishment of a so-called “TUClab” for joint, unbureaucratic support and funding for founders. As part of this competition, on October 2, 2020, three selected start-ups were given access to start-up financing in the form of equity capital from Sächsische Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbh (SBG). A total of up to €900,000 is available for the three companies. In addition, they will have access to the infrastructure of Chemnitz University of Technology and selected transfer partners, as well as integration into the university's transfer and mentoring networks.
