Standing in the historic foundry hall of the Chemnitz factory - the very place where generations before us laid the industrial foundation of our region - was a truly moving moment for us as a young foundry startup.

Our CEO, Marcel Graf, said it felt like a symbolic passing of the baton: We’re preserving the craft and tradition, but with CMMC GmbH, we’re transforming them for the digital age of materials.
We were honored to take home first place at the Innovation Night Awards and bring it back to our foundry!
For us, this success is more than just an award. It confirms that Chemnitz is ready for Foundry 2.0.
