CMMC GmbH was selected from a total of over 70 applications as one of the top 10 nominees, thereby reaching the final round of the competition. The company was recognized for its innovative technology for manufacturing aluminum matrix composites (AMC) and its industrial relevance in the field of modern lightweight construction materials.

The Saxon Founder Award is presented annually by the Free State of Saxony in cooperation with the innovation platform futureSAX. It honors particularly innovative business ideas and young companies with great growth potential. The competition is considered one of the most important awards for start-ups in the Free State and brings founders together with investors, industry partners, and the Saxon innovation network.
